Myogi-jinja Shrine Bronze Lanterns

This pair of bronze lanterns standing in front of the stairs at the entrance of Myogi-jinja Shrine measures a total of 4.35m in height. They were erected in June 1864, funded by donations from a total of 223 people including silk cocoon merchants from various provinces, merchants in various business, and sericulture farmers praying for sericulture and business prosperity.
